Major gifts and bequests (including securities) are our lifeblood because they provide the substantial funding needed to invest in critical infrastructure and steady growth in delivering services consistent with our mission.
Since its founding in 1989 as an independent, non-partisan educational organization, the Center has been gifted with significant contributions from individual philanthropists, corporate and family foundations, media and technology companies, the peace and justice funds of Catholic religious orders and the educational budgets of Protestant and Jewish agencies.
With continued support from a wide variety of organizations, the Center for Media Literacy can continue its role as a respected voice for Empowerment through Education.
